Children at Denbigh Primary School are expected to wear school uniform. The uniform has been agreed with consideration of health and safety, religious and cultural sensibilities and human rights issues. We believe wearing a uniform, with a school logo, makes all the pupils look very smart and presents a good image of the school and pupils. Wearing a school logo can also help pupils feel part of a ‘whole school’ community. It also visibly identifies our pupils, which supports the school’s strict safeguarding policy and procedure.
The Denbigh Primary uniform consists of the following:
Girls:
- Red polo shirt (with school logo)
- Navy Blue sweatshirt (with school logo)
- Grey skirt, trousers and or pinafore dress
- Suitable flat plain black shoes
- Optional Summer Uniform (summer term only)
- Red gingham dress
Boys:
- Red polo shirt (with school logo)
- Navy Blue sweatshirt (with school logo)
- Grey trousers
- Suitable flat plain black shoes
- Optional Summer Uniform (summer term only)
- Grey or black tailored shorts
PE kit (Unisex)
- Navy t-shirt (with school logo)
- Navy blue or black shorts or navy blue or black leggings/jogging bottoms
- Plimsolls or trainers
- Kit bag with school logo or suitable bag for carrying PE kit.
Swimming
- If your child has swimming lessons, please ensure he or she has suitable swim wear and a towel.
